Meet The Team

Mr. Parker established Robert E. Parker & Associates, Inc. in 1964.  In 2000, after almost 40 years of practicing law, he retired and sold the company.  However, retirement did not fit well with him, and with his continued passion for the law, Mr. Parker returned to the legal profession in 2006 creating Robert E. Parker Attorney Law, LLC, which operates under the trade name of Parker & Orvis.  Picking right up where he left off, in just a few short years, Parker & Orvis has become a re-established law firm with a reputation for the highest standards in legal knowledge, professionalism and integrity.

Parker & Orvis has an emphasis on real estate law, including title insurance, residential and commercial closings.  Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, Trust Administration, Probate and Probate Administration are also skillfully handled by the experienced attorneys at Parker & Orvis.

Everyone at Parker & Orvis is dedicated to providing each client the highest level of legal services, while providing that service to each client in a personal, professional and caring manner. 

Carol Parker is the Co-Owner/Manager of Charter Title.
She has worked diligently throughout the years to create a top-notch company.  She is well versed in the title industry, as well as in operations of running a company. The work performed by her team is known in the area as top rate. She is a problem solver and a proactive team leader who works hard for her clients to receive a quality real estate closing transaction.

Rita is the manager of Charter Title & Escrow Co. LLC.  She has been with the company since 2007. She is a Lender Closer among her various other duties.  Thirty-two years of title closing experience gives Rita a thorough real estate background, giving her clients the best, possible closing experience.   She was commissioned as a Notary Public for the State of Oklahoma in 1990. Rita is a member of the Tulsa Home Builder Association and was awarded the 2012 Associate of the Year.   She was born and raised in the Midwest, moved to Arizona and came to Oklahoma to work and reside.

Linda Edwards has been in the title closing industry for 30 years. She has experience in both broker and lender processing and broker and lender closing areas.  She also has shipping and title department knowledge and experience. Linda has been employed by Charter since 2009. She was commissioned as a Notary Public for the State of Oklahoma in 2001.  Oklahoma has been her residency for most of her life.

Adena began working in the escrow business in February 2003.  She was commissioned as a Notary Public for the State of Oklahoma in 2005.   Adena has joined the Charter team, bringing with her a vast amount of experience and knowledge.  She loves meeting home buyers at the closing table and getting the opportunity to get to know them and their families.  The fact that she gets to be a part of one of the biggest purchases of their lives is exciting and fulfilling.  She grew up in a small town Northwest of Oklahoma City.   Whenever possible, she loves to travel with her husband, especially getting on a cruise ship headed to the Caribbean. 

Heather has worked in the escrow/title closing business for the last 20 years.  She has been recently joined the Charter team and her closer/processor abilities have added greatly to our team.  She was commissioned as a Notary Public for the State of Oklahoma in 2004.   Heather was born in Oklahoma and attended OSU.  Spending time with her family, being outdoors, fishing, listening to music, visiting Colorado and playing with the family dogs, Pepper and Laila, are her enjoyments outside the office.

Ronan is a lovable, adorable dog who gets to visit the Charter team periodically.  
He is 11 years old, an emotional support dog and is a very good boy.   Ronan brings joy and happiness where ever he goes.   The team showers him with cuddles and treats and he, of course, loves the team and their gifts (smile).    He has been awarded the title of the "Team Masot".
